Emilio brings three decades of experience spanning investment banking, private equity, global corporate finance, and luxury hotel development — and a perspective shaped by working both sides of the table.
Most recently, as Vice President of Global Development & Acquisitions at Belmond (an LVMH maison), Emilio led growth strategy and acquisitions across the Americas and Europe for one of the world's most distinctive luxury travel platforms — owner and operator of iconic hotels, trains, and cruises since the acquisition of Hotel Cipriani in Venice in 1976.
Earlier, Emilio spent more than a decade at Marriott International — first in global corporate finance from the company's Bethesda headquarters, then relocating to Barcelona to lead European development across Marriott's brand portfolio in Southern Europe. His career began in investment banking in Argentina, followed by private equity at GE Capital, where he led investments across Latin America.
